From El Salvador to London
QUINTA was born from a simple idea: bring one of Mesoamerica's most loved street foods to London.
While travelling through Central America, our founder Arthur fell in love with the warmth, flavours and sense of community that surrounded everyday food. Some of his favourite memories were shared around corn, fire, conversation and the dishes that bring people together.
Back in London, he realised that these flavours were almost impossible to find. So in 2017, QUINTA began as a small street food stall with a mission: introduce Londoners to the pupusa — a handmade corn flatbread stuffed with delicious fillings and grilled fresh to order.
What started as a market stall became the UK's first dedicated pupuseria. Today, from our home in South Kensington, we continue to share the food, culture and hospitality that inspired us from the very beginning.
